Is there anyway we can have the edit button present for a limited time after we post???
If we had the option to edit for say 10 minutes, we could correct our posts so that they are easier to read and it would keep people from going back days later and editing/deleting posts.
I don't know if this is even a possibility, but thought I would throw it out there. I sure do miss that button!

Good idea Laura :)
The message you have entered is too short.

I think this would be a great idea Laura, especially for us members who are keyboard challenged (its not my fault that I have big mitts)! lola

OR, you could PREVIEW your post...put it in the box and re-read it. I miss the edit button too, but the PREVIEW should help, if you're not already using it. It also gives time to reflect upon what you are actually saying. JMHO.

I agree. Even though I would often edit typos out the 1st 5 minutes, having the patience to preview could overcome that need to edit.
And if we have a typo we cant change, it pales in comparison to the benefits
of having what is posted remain unchanged.
Either way is ok with me, im so glad that the edit wont be abused as in the past.

I totally agree Stash! Taking off the edit button was a great idea. I guess I am just trying to see if we can have it both ways. :o

I actually forgot about the preview button. :o That's a good idea.
For some reason though, I just don't always catch them until they are posted for all to see!
