Has anyone read Larry Burkett's book "The Coming Economic Earthquake"?
I did, about 16 years ago and have been keeping tabs on the economy since.
Let me quote from page 120: "At the time of the Commission's report in 1984 , they estimated the total federal debt might reach $3 TRILLION by the year 2000." We have since exceeded that... the book continues," "Every time the taxpayers give Congress $1.00 extra, they spend $1.68." Keep in mind this book was written 16 years ago and we have since exceeded these landmarks.
"All realistic estimates now place the potential debt at $13 to $20 trillion by the year 2000." We are well beyond that.
Moving forward to page 121 third paragraph:
"Remember that the politicians who tell you that the debt is irrelevant are the same who say the following: "More money will eliminate poverty." This is Obama's 'spread the wealth philosophy.'
To continue with Larry's book, "taxes will never be more than 2% (obama's 95% who will get a tax decease/welfare and the upper 2% will pay the heavy load).
Pornography is a personal issue that Schumer equates to the Fairness Doctrine. He and many others want to take our First Ammendment Rights Away... because freedom of speech is now "PORNOGRAPHIC," according to Schumer.
"Sex education will solve teen pregnancies." This philosophy has endangered the moral fiber of our society by the secularists bringing up a generation of bastards who don't know who their father's are. I will apologize to thse those that I offend but I must bring out my point in the only way I know.
My friends we are heading down the wrong road. We see it...we feel it...and we are all pragmatists about it. What do YOU intend to do about the country WE love????
