Moustafa Assad,
Hi, I saw your post advertising dinars before it was deleted.
I understand why it was removed , as per the forum rules regarding advertising. I think it was a good deal, but have no say in the matter. I'm just a member here. All that aside, I have some questions for you regarding the value of currencies in that region of the world. I looked up the exchange rate of the U.S. Dollar to the Lebanese Pound. Yahoo shows US$1 = LBP 1,514. This being similar in value to the IQD at 1,460 , my question is what will US$1 buy in Lebanon???
Here in the U.S. I can pretty much go into any Mc Donalds and order up a single Big and Nasty hamburger for a buck, or the full meal deal for about $4.50. Or at current gas prices I can get a little more than a half a gallon of gas for a dollar. Or at the Dollar store I can get a 2 liter bottle of pepsi for $.99
Of corse real estate prices vary so drasticly by area it would be hard to compare. But average cost of living is what I'm after.

Hi,
1 US$ would buy me a parking lot ticket for 4 hours,
1 US$ would buy me 2 Coke Cans.
I need 7$ to buy a Meal in Mcdonalds
I need 17$ to buy 20 Liters of Gas for my car..
In Lebanon 70% of the population deal exclusively in the US $, we have the best banking system in the world, any citizen can open accounts in any currency known. I have accounts in US$, STGP, Euro, LBP . Lebanese banks just started dealing and opening accounts in Iraqi Dinars IQDs, Exchange stores started dealing in the new IQD on the very same day is was released. Thats whay we have the best prices in the world and thats why we can compete..

Hi,
People in Lebanon have been SILENTLY stocking Iraqi Dinars , being close to the main exchanger who imports the IQD in the country i have seen VAST amounts being gulped into the Lebanon economy.
One bank , has even offered its clients Bank Accounts in Iraqi Dinar.
The market here is silently participating and stock piling.
We have sold vast amounts of Dinars lately to Egypt. Since Lebanon has a free market economy you can deal in any currency without getting taxed, thats why we have the cheapest possible prices..
cheers

Moustafa,
since your new and you're a supplier, I thought you can tell us a little about yourself? Are you from the states? Are you a currency trader? Do you hold any Dinars of your own?
Just curious. Thanks

Hi,
I have an ebay Store and we have been dealing for quite some time now, I reside in Beirut Lebanon, i spent some time in Phx Az, and my entire family lives in Charlotte NC.
Dinars here are available with ease, we get our stocks directly from Iraqi sources.
have a great day
