Does anyone know what is the current situation with the postal system in Iraq? Are Iraqis able to send letters internationally? I saw an article about it the other day and can't find the thread.
Thanks,
Dan

Only thing I could find on Iraqi mail:

There was a thread where it was discussed how Iran shut down their mail service when they replaced their currency. Some seller was using that as a scare tactic to buy from him if it happened in Iraq.

The shortage of postmen is unbelievable per sq mile !!!.

I suppose this is why the nice folks at Warka bank warned customers against using the mail...
