Iraq expects oil exports to rise by about 300,000 barrels per day (bpd) daily by January, when a new government is elected with authority to decide on foreign involvement in the sector, the head of Iraq's Energy Council said recently.


Where are they at now? Anyone Know? 1.7 Million/Day?

I really think that this is also one of the main delays to the reval. The government officials must be the permanent ones elected in December...not the transitional ones. JMO

I have to agree with you. I don't think we'll see a reval untill we have a permanent government set up there. Thats good though, gives me more time to buy more dinar.

They are about at 1.5 million bpd according to the article(bottom).

The C.B.I. is indepentent of the Iraq gov. there more worried about the world bank thought's.
