Iraq oil industry bogged down in cycle of violence
It has become a routine. Iraqi insurgents blow up one of the North Oil Company's facilities out in the scrubland. Engineers go and patch it up. The guerrillas fire on them and they beat a retreat.

Why don't we use this to our advantage? they blow up an oil line (we can't protect it all) send the repair guys, BUT hide and when the idiots start shooting on the repair guys, we jump on them with all our furry!!
When I say we I mean the allies and Iraq.

For any that has not seen the warka bank homepage in a while, check it out.Just look what is going on there.Check out all the links. They are about to go online here.Everything looks positive here and organized.I truly believe that all is a go for a peg after the election.I do not see that a change of currency will happen at all.Looking at the warka site shows just how diligent and hard we all have been working behind the scenes in Iraq. The stories you never hear about in the mainstream media.I am just excited about it all.I still believe that being optimistic is always the best policy and optimism is what I see.Declare it.We are almost there.I have not posted in a while, but stay informed by reading the posts always.Still a great forum.Gotta go.....:huge:

Such a simplistic view of the situation. But in true reality the answer is fairly clear yet very tough to accomplish. Bottom line is Donald Rumsfeld has not put forth enough man power to accomplish this mission. Let's state this very clearly. Yes in most provinces there is some progress. But the overall situation HAS NOT IMPROVED in a significant manner concerning the terrorists. The attacks are still as strong as they've ever been. American deaths are still far too high. Rumsfeld's incompetant handling of this war is what is still holding Iraq and frankly the USA down. I'm not saying we won't eventually win. I am saying that Rumsfeld is taking some big gambles here and is gambling the future of Iraq with poor managing. The odds are in his favor as we do have the resources to outlast the terrorists. But we should already see far better measurables at this point than we have. Time to fire Rummy and put a real military man in charge my vote going for Col. Hunt or Bob Bevelaqua or Col Bill Cowen or General Paul Vallely or Lt General Thomas McInerney. Any one of these heroic great military men could end this thing by mid summer of 2006. With Rummy at the helm this thing could drag on for years.............
