Interesting article about control of Iraq's Oil

This article claims that the US planned to use Iraq's oil to break the OPEC cartel following the invasion, but that this did not happen in large part due to the US oil industry. It does not discuss the dinar, but is interesting in that it shows at least one battle going on within the US and Iraqi governments and elsewhere over the future of Iraq's greatest natural resource. If this was going on over oil, think how many philosophical disputes have been and are going on over the value of the dinar and its revaluation. It sure would be nice, however, to know if the US had a plan for the dinar when the new bills were printed, even if that is no longer the plan.
