In the framework of his official visit to the State of Kuwait, met with Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ali Al-Ghanim, Kuwait on Wednesday, 2-4 Mr. Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani and the delegation accompanying him.
He praised Al-Ghanim during the meeting, relations between the State of Kuwait with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in all fields, especially in regard to economic and commercial aspects, stressing keenness and interest in the room to activate trade exchange between the two countries.
According to a press room that the visit is to discuss the major proposals that would develop economic cooperation between the two countries and the provision of adequate information on the available investment opportunities in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The two sides discussed the possibility of forming a joint bilateral commission between the Chamber and the region to increase economic cooperation between Kuwait and the territory of Kurdistan have been addressed to the most important laws and procedures related to foreign investment in the Territory and the review of some investment projects to investors, Kuwaitis and existing in Kurdistan.
