Texas is one of only SIX states in the entire United States that completely bans open carry of handguns. Representative Debbie Riddle (R – Houston) will soon introduce historic legislation to restore the right to open carry handguns in Texas.
So if you know anyone who lives, works, or goes to school in Texas, now is the time to contact them and urge them to sign the open carry petition for Texas at

I've always said, it's not what I see that scares me, but rather what I can't see. I'm all for open carry. Bring it on! I'm not a resident, so I can't help with the petition, but I wish you luck. Let's make it 50 State legal.
