Visited the province of Dohuk, a U.S. delegation to get acquainted with the conditions of the region and opportunities for investment. Said Jay Garner, told a press conference after meeting the U.S. delegation, the Governor of Dohuk, with Ramadan.
"The American delegation was invited by the Kurdistan Regional Government, to view the developments in the region in the areas of economic and investment opportunities in the region, for delivery to the public opinion and American investors."
Garner said that "the American delegation will be investment opportunities and encourage American companies to work in the region, particularly since the region enjoys a stable security climate, in which many investment opportunities," indicating that he had previously paid "to facilitate the work of a number of American companies in the areas of energy and investment banks in the region."
He pointed out that he sensed that "the people of the Kurdistan region are eager to expand relations with the American people," he said, adding that "There is a lot of natural resources, which creates a favorable climate for investment."
