Hope I am not the only one. I wish they would make it simple to put the stock under our name. Forgot where to find the steps.

If you got in the ISX via warka proxy before Oct 2008 you are not 'required' to do the paperwork :shake: but if you got in the ISX after Oct 2008, proxy or not, you need to do your paperwork.

no, old timers are just Grandfathered in on the proxy. We still need to jump through hoops to get shares in our good names

I just received an email from Mr. I and said my stock purchase will be executed on the 24th. He works late "gotta love Mr. I". :rock:

my Warka stocks are still in proxy(by choice- I figure it will be much easier with the transition to etrading to transfer. Paper certs take weeks to get)- the others at other brokers in my name

Is it possible to post the pros and cons for both proxy and in your own name please.
I'm in the process of sending several mil to warka in the interest of buying into the ISX.

Many thanks Fosking You can't use a proxy,with new accounts shares have to be in your name now. I am keeping my shares in proxies until told otherwise, it's just easier and who knows they could change again what is required, I have learned with these things to move slow and not worry about it.
