I feel a little bit better now, especially that I've also received my 12% paid up shares :rock:

I think i've received my 12% paid up on investment now because under accounts inquiry I noticed today they posted this...

and they deducted the dinar for it. I haven't been sent a spreadsheet on it yet though. Hopefully that will come soon.

Are you with Warka? if so they post on their web page when companies give out free shares. For me, if i am qualified for them, they just notify me by email when i have them. Once they didn't do this and i emailed Mr. I and asked for an updated portfolio and when that was sent I noticed I had more shares than I thought. Ta da free shares.

Paid up shares mean that say you have Warka. Warka offers 20% paid up shares. This means that if you own 100,000 shares, you are now able to purchase twenty percent of that amount for only 1 dinar a share. Sometimes this is a good deal if say the shares are higher normally. Other times it's just a good deal because it's a way to aquire more shares without having to purchase the 200,000 minimum.

My online Warka account shows they took out dinars to purchase the "Paid Up" shares in Investment Bank today...but I have not received an Excel sheet yet with proof of purchase. I expect that this week though.

Still waiting on Babylon, plus Economy, Gulf Commercial and Warka.

Offers / free shares in the pipeline from Al Mansour, Middle East, Al Mamoura Real Estates, Dar Es Salaam and Union Bank. All these ones, as yet are unannounced officially on the Warka website, despite some decisions being a couple of months old now.

Are you saying that you calculated the number of paid up shares that you applied for, based on your exisiting number of shares held plus the new free amount receivable ?

I can answer that if I may. I was confused at first too but when I calculated how much was taken from my account for the 12% paid up shares I realised that I must have also received the 20% free shares prior to purchasing the paid up shares. I received no email stating that I'd received the free shares so this was a really cool way to find out :rock:

I can answer that if I may. Well, today I got my Excel sheet from Warka (proxy) for Investment bank.

It broke out the 20% and the 12%.

As we suspected they computed the 20% and then figured the 12%.

They have posted babylon share purchase in my Warka account today, but looking at the calculation it doesnt indicate any free shares... either there are none or they have made an error.

Sent an email to ISX department on 28th July enquiring about Investment Bank. They have deducted the money for the shares but i have had no email spreadsheet. I also enquired about Gulf Commercial, i have sent an authorisation but heard no more.

I am still waiting for a response.

I'm waiting on Ashour Bank, 15% free shares, meeting 06/16.09, Credit Bank, , 22% free and 21.42% paid up shares, Dar es Salaam, 34% free shares, , Middle East Bank, 30.95% free shares, Warka Bank, 47.058% free shares and Bank of Baghdad 21% free shares.

Investment Bank and United only ones received.
