What does it take to engage the newly listed companies? My buy order on Fallujah Construction Materials at $2.00 is well above the last trading price of $1.80, my buy order on Al-Mansour Pharmaceuticals at $1.50 is also above prior levels....are these companies really trading electronically

Guess I'll buy more Bank Stocks  Show me the money!!!!

I'm gonna buy me some Bank of Baghdad very soon! :happy64:

Al-Mansour Pharmaceuticals IMAP not trading 1.000 1.500
Fallujah Construction Materials IFCM not trading 1.650 2.000

Warka's been excellent with new buy orders on the 5 companies that are trading, I bought Wakra & Middle East on 6/28 & again on 7/7...just looking to "get in" now and diversify.

The way they have the ISX analysis segregated into Iraqis and Foreigners it wouldnt surprise me that Iraqis can only sell to other Iraqis and foreigners can only trade with foreigners

OK, I have it figured out...notice from the above post, the "offer price" is $2.00, and I submitted a "buy order" at $2.00. Here's what I received from the July 9th trading session for my order, it leads me to believe no one on the exchange ever saw my order.

The requested stock is currently not trading please note that as the ISX has gone fully electronic from July 5th 2009 all trading sessions will become electronic where new companies will be added to the electronic board.

Please note that the last ISX white board session was held on June 18th 2009.

I believe we are stuck in the transition period where brokers are still unsure about ISX transactions. I don't mind it very much since it appears to be somewhat in my best interest. I would hate to buy "Bank of Baghdad" right out of the gate on Sunday for $2.50 when it eventually settles lower in the same trading session due to their free share distribution.
