I had the payment taken from my account for the Babylon deal, last Thursday, but still no sign of the updated spreadsheet. I was expecting it to arrive yesterday tbh.

I'm in the same position as you, though the money only came out of my account this week. I guess they're taking the monies in batches and once complete they'll email the details ... in batches

Warka issued free shares, why would they take out anything?

Warka takes money out of your account to buy paid-up capital shares.

The funds for Babylon Paid Up Shares were removed from my account on July 9th, and I was sent the spread sheet on July 15th.

I also had money taken out on the 9th and yesterday got my spreadsheet with the paid capital shares and on a second line got 20% free shares. Has anyone else gotten free shares? The 20% and the paid up are for 100,000 shares. At the end of May I purchased 200,000 more shares. On this spread sheet it says "total shares" 160,232. I sure hope they don't have this messed up as I should have 360,232 shares.

If you haven't already, email a copy of the spreadsheet to Mr. I and explain the problem to him. I cannot fully remember my situation but I had a similar problem, and it turned out they'd mixed up my shares with someone elses... I will be glad when the online share trading is setup, then I can see exactly what I have... Spreadsheets suck!!!

Hi Stevie,
My spreadsheet showed:
Starting No, of Shares: 425000
Paid Capital shares: 40% 170984
Free capital shares: 20% 85000
Total Shares: 680984
So all of this is correct for Babylon.
The only other thing I have ever recieved so far was a dividend from Credit Bank in the amount of 50,000 (40%), it was posted to my Warka Account on 06/05/2009, but was for 2007. So this one took 1 1/2 years to find its way home! Funnie, but now as I look at that statement, I am realizing I didn't own any Credit Bank until 2008, must be miss applied.
None of the other stocks I own have I ever recieved anything on.
Commercial Bank
Baghdad Bank
Middle East Bank
Warka Bank
Baghdad Soft Drinks
Chemical & Plastics
I sent an email request to the ISX deprtment last week asking for a current saccounting and preadsheet of all stocks held in proxy, I'll just wait for that.

My spreadsheet says # of shares 100,000 which is what I had for a while but now I have 200,000 more plus paid up & free. I wrote a letter last night to Mr. I with a copy sent to the isx dept. Make sure Mr. I gets a copy of your concerns because when he is involved, things are more likely to get fixed.

1) I bought 42,500 shares of Baghdad Bank on 7/19/2006. I have never purchased "paid-up shares" for any stock. How many shares should I have based on freebies since my purchase?
My Warka portfolio I just got shows: 56,160
2) I bought 40,000 of Babylon Bank on 8/2/07 and portfolio shows: 48,000
Thank you for any assistance!

I paid 1.34, have to learn to sweet talk Mr. I. LOL. Just joking, lucked out, I put in an order for 1.39, it went down to 1.33 but I always type in Red letters or "Market Rate". Hence, the 1.34.

Some of us recently received 30.95% free shares of Iraq Middle East Bank. I had to ask for mine.

When did you originally buy them though? Any when you get the free shares? :lipssealed:
