All,

Obviously, FEDEX resolved its transport issues. This is good news.

Thanks,

ALL,

Called from the USA and learned EXPRESS Service is resumed to Iraq but only to non-military locations and non-military use.

The only locations or cities Fed Ex services is Baghdad and Erbil.

October 25, 2009 Fed Ex Resumed only Commerical business but November 3, 2009 Fed Resumes private Express packages only to the above cities.

thats interesting that Fedex would contact Warka personally to inform them of this. Warka must be like 90% of fedex business in Iraq (just guessing here)

I asked Mr I two days ago who he would prefer me to use to send to Warka, he came back pretty quick and said we are using Fedex now.

So basically i am still not much wiser even now.

Kostas,

Seriously call the international phone #. Then when you go to your local office give them the international number to call themselves. 1-800-247-4747.

After all the local office just handles the label you need for your package.

Good luck

Thaiville
