Windows 7 any thoughts out there? I have a notebook with 7 and I like it. I see no reason why I would upgrade from XP or Vista.

I'm still trying to get over Vista. I hate it and wish I could downgrade to XP for free.

Why the distaste of Vista
I've been using XP for years and it works great. I've seen Vista and don't like it mostly because I don't see it enough and can't find the functions I'm accustomed to using as an IT guy.
The company I work with still uses XP as their standard, but has tested Vista. This has been a flop from internal feedback from our testers. The latest I heard is that if/when we make a transition, it will be straight to Windows 7 which has been tested as well with better results/compatibility with existing systems and applications.
I've also heard by opinions is that W7 is what Vista was supposed to be.....but we all know about opinions eh.
Just my 2 dinars.

I have an XP pc and see no reason to upgrade
also have a notebook with vista, works just fine and yes you have to look where they put all the functions your used to.
Win7 I like and I will not upgrade any of the older machines.
Wait to you see how the hide the Email Client. Now called Live Mail found on the Programs folder. You really have to play with it to find the functions but if you are like me and have multiple Email accounts then you will love it

Oh and if you have Vista or updated XP you can download Live Essentials (http://download.live.com) and have the same Email Client and other toys. As I have done on this Vista PC. No problems on the mail import on install.
