I know this forum does not allow posting about dinar dealers, but I wonder if it would be permissible to have a thread about scam operators who pose as dealers, who take your money but fail to deliver dinars. Would members of this forum be allowed to post about getting ripped off, and list the names and web addresses of the scam operators? If so, that would enable potential buyers to avoid getting ripped off, and steer them toward legitimate dealers, such as the one who sponsors this forum.

Check out "Investors Supporter Forum" - about four rooms south.

I'm not a member of the Supporter Forum, and I have already bought as many dinars as I plan on buying at this time.
I just spoke on the telephone with a dealer from whom I ordered a month ago. He told me my dinars would probably be shipped early next week. What I told him was, "I'll believe that when I see it." Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I too had already ordered my dinar when I found this place. I wish I had been warned about certain dealers. My first order took almost a month to get to me. I agree GRRR!!

Was that on Ebay or a website - I had a similiar problem about 6 months ago with a private website. Told the guy that I was calling the Treasury Department on him - he Fedex'd a refund check the next day. Use Amer - no hassles.
Good Luck.

That was a web site that claims to be endorsed by the better business bureau, but when you click on the BBB link, it lists another company name, but at the same address. I don't know the significance of this, but the zip code is 60606. It gets worse. Yesterday the web address suddenly switched to a web site for another company in another state. When I called today, I found it amazing that someone actually answered the telephone. I think they will probably send me dinars eventually, but I hate being anxious about where my money went. I advise everyone NOT to send any dinar dealer a cashiers check. Use a credit card.

I got my dinar COD. This was great because I could LOOK at my dinar before I handed over my money order to the Fedx guy. I did research before getting in this investment and learn ways to tell counterfeit and the real thing. I looked at EVERY note (made the Fedx guy wait) before I handed over my money.

Typically with COD, you are not permitted to inspect the merchandise!

Hi Steve Brown,
Good question, but the rule is universal - good or bad talk about dealers. We don't want the spam.
It's a very competitive market and we have high traffic. Though I'm sure many members would post true experiences, we would open the door for competing dealers to falsely post "negative press" about other dealers to their advantage.
The Supporter Forum helps us to avoid these problems and it is available to anyone even if they do not buy dinars through Amer.
