If anyone actually gets their free shares, please post the event so I can update the Splits/Dividends page on my website www.IraqStockX.com. I would very much appreciate email since I may miss the info here.

Paid up shares are completely different than a split. Paid up shares are simply the company giving you the right to purchase shares outside of the market supply-demand environment at a price that is lower than the market. It is one way companies increase their capital. A split is where the company gives out free shares to all current owners. In general, the price of these shares decrease after the split in proportion to the split.

thanks for the info...but what is the percentage about:i.e. kirkuk for producing is doing 500% paid up shares. Does this mean you can buy 5 times your holdings at (x) dinar??:wondering:

That's exactly right, you can buy 5 times more than you hold at this moment, pay 1 dinar per share. They raise a capital.
