Currently there is a minimum purchase requirement of 200,000 shares per company stock.
Wow that means like if the stock is for example al warka bank 1 36
Means 200000 X 136=272200 IQD about 232 USD
it is quite a lot of investment for a single stock considering that most ISX stock are about 1 plus IQD

Don't forget the 1% fee (2,722) for Warka Bank.

Warka Bank stock is really cheap right now. I just bought more Thursday.

I ran Warka's numbers today from when they went out at 2.30 and issued 47% free shares...down overall around 13%. It's a steal at this price! Unless my spreadsheet figures were effed.

But, Land Transport may be a better buy, it's back around the same price it was when it issued a 50% dividend!

Kickabuck... Good point Warka shares ought to be flying high off this news. Maybe it needs some pumping!!! I never have pumped but I wounder the effects could be!!! Maybe we need to call up some of our PALS at FOX...

Kickabuck good information. Alot of us are in positions since 2005. When you look at the all time highs it will blow your mind. :itwasntme:

$232 USD is huge amount! Wow, I thought I was cheapThat's relative. Depends on individual's income. Not everybody has a well paid job or even a job itself. And with electronic trading allready in practice I don't see a reason why they set a minimum number of shares that you can buy. Maybe because of all the paper work? I also expect investor to broker electronic trading system in the future so hopefully they'll abandon this rule then...

electronic trading system? how does it work?Simple. You have your online account, you log in to your broker's website (which is usually the same system for all brokers) and you set your reqeust there. You have plenty of choices, for example, you can set a price range at which you wanna sell/purchase your shares). And then your broker proceeds these through stock exchange's system (which is allready the case on ISX).

Poor War Eagle, he was a great guy with good insight, I will always remember him for the way he was...RIP my friend :crying:

:wait: You do mean after the Lop/RV combo, right? I will definitely be looking forward to a change in the minimum purchase requirements. I hope the hotel sector drops down to 50,000 shares/purchase. :clapping:
