Hi ! Can anyone give me a current black market rate on the North Korean won - some have neen offered to me but I want to check this against known prices .

why not try checking the rates using online currency converters like xe or oanda?

I tried that but the rate is pegged at 2.12 to the Dollar and on the black market it is trading at 100`s to the Dollar now :)

Why would anyone buy NK Won?
It's like buying pre-war, Sadaam dinars.

When NK falls, and it will, there will be so much chaos... NK will be reunified with SK, and they will use SK Won...

Of course, you can collect as novelty item. But I see no upside for NK Won.
