According to a statement issued by the General Secretariat in which "Shafaq News" received a copy of it "the constitution and legislations in force ensured the freedom of expression, freedom of gathering and peaceful demonstration."
However, the statement added that "these freedoms should be exercised within the framework of legitimacy , must not breach the public order and morality , must not be without the knowledge of competent authorities and must be licensed by them."

Tens of thousands of demonstrators still gather in Anbar province and cut off the major international roads towards Jordan and Syria.
The protesters are demanding to release of prisoners and cancel the anti-terrorism law and not to "marginalize" the Sunnis in the country.
Demonstrations were covered directly by the channels that support the "Arab Spring" and especially Qatari Al-Jazeera satellite channel.
The protests began after a special force have arrested a number of protections of the Finance Minister Rafie al-Issawi, the leader in al- Iraqiya List, before releasing them and keeping nine only.
