http://www.shafaaq.com/en/images/2013/1/1/sadr-2-26042012%20copy.jpgShafaq News / The head of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr announced on Tuesday, his readiness to go to Anbar to participate in the continued protests since days, and as pointed out that raising the pictures of Saddam and sectarianism logos prevented him from that earlier, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki can resign if he wants.
Sadr said, in a press conference held in Najaf attended by "Shafaq News", that “I am ready to send a delegation to Anbar and go there”.
He predicted that Anbar will continue to protest as long as politician’s policies are like that, adding "I admonish raising pictures of Saddam as the protestors’ demands should be for Iraq."
With regard to the Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki calls to hold early elections Sadr added, "If he wants let him resign."
Maliki has threatened on Sunday of holding early elections in the country in coincide with the local elections.
