I was in Dubai yesterday at the Mall of the Emirates and lo and behold I see 2 money exchangers about 20-30 meters apart, right near Carrefour (SP?). So I go in and ask if they are exchanging NID. The guy looks at me like I'm stupid and says "Of course we are!" Anyway, to make a long story short, the buy rate is $625 USD per 1 million NID and he didn't have to look it up. I got more or less the same response and the same rate from the other money exchanger. I thought it very interesting that NID is being exchanged that far outside of Iraq even though the rate sucks.

That is one heck of a Rate, that's is better than in Iraq which is about 650-675 depending on how you do .

That is very intresting that it's in the mall .I will be going on R & R very soon and will pay them a visit .

The man quoted me the rate right off the top of his head. You're math is backwards if you think $625 is better than $650-$675. The higher the USD the higher the rate of exchange. If you're purchasing NID then you would be correct.
