Why is it always the same old thing with you people. I am suprised you did not mention The Florida Conspiracy while you were at it. Did you know that Clinton used Halleberton as much as Bush did? I can only hope you are joking and just trying to annoy others with this thread. While I am at it can you imagine a world with Gore as the president or even worse Kerry.

Are you serious or are you high on some illegal substance. Hunting accidents happen all the time and no one goes to jail.
The guy doesn't even sound like he was hurt that bad. It was an accident, I don't think we started giving people the death penalty for accidents. Not in America anyway.
Maybe the country you are thinking of is Iran or maybe China?
I think maybe you just don't like Dick.

Although being a hunter myself I do have to admit I as a common man I would be in deep trouble for this, in hunting there are no accidents. Everyone must always be in control of their muzzle. As far as the USA being like Iran, I suggest you go to Iran and find out just how free you really are here in the USA. :drunk:

Even though my words might seem CRAZY to you all! The truth is that, this is what prosecutors pull on people every single day in the good OL USA! That is how they are trained to do their job.
I just shot my wife, but I told the police it was an accident. So they just said ok be more careful next time. Get real I'd be headed to death row, and this is where this guy needs to be going!
Difference between you shooting your wife and these two men are:
They are man enough to know what an accident is. They both will give thanks to their god that he is Alive and their relationship will be stronger than it ever was.
I'd lay every dinar I have that the man whom he shot is much bigger than to start suing, even though he is a Lawyer. The comments that will be played on TV sprewing from the mouths of immature people will do more harm to this man, his family, even America than the accident itself.
Not to mention any left winger who wishes to play politics with a tragedy, will drive even more moderates from their side to the side of their enemies. This has been true thoughout recent history.......Just look who the anti-war, anti-gun, anti-god, anti..everything has drove millions to the conservative sides, this is why there is such a Divide in the Dem party..
I can say one thing,,,,,I support such comments as they show true colors,,,thus deeping the divide and making the conservative leaders to get more support when coming to moral issues.....
But IMO the any website among investors is not place to hope a man dies, but again, i'm not in charge, just IMO.
Although being a hunter myself I do have to admit I as a common man I would be in deep trouble for this, in hunting there are no accidents. Everyone must always be in control of their muzzle. As far as the USA being like Iran, I suggest you go to Iran and find out just how free you really are here in the USA. :drunk: Long shot, I can agree......it would be investigated, and DEPENDING on whether or not your area prosecutor dislikes you already, dislikes a member of your family, or is a Liberal gun control activist. If he was a Liberal activist, they'd make you go to trial just to use it as a public display to support their agenda.
That is when you as the shooter prays the jury is full of conservative gun owners that will look at the FACTS, not a knee jerk reaction with a chance to promote their agenda. Chances are in this case, there were a good 10 witnesses "ALL officers themselves" that witnessed the account.
Make a BET.....the next thing you will see this week, and I'll honestly believe this is:.....Elderly men will face a chance of loosing their privilege to hunt, as it wouldn't suprise me if you see a KERRY Resolution 7736 to ban hunting by people over 65. Shoots they many even say before you get a "CHECK" you have to turn in your GUNS.
this is what prosecutors pull on people every single day in the good OL USA! That is how they are trained to do their job.
Hmmmm :lmao: (another lib stepped in his own dribble).of the prosecutors you speak in your quote....I'd be confident in say 85-95 percent of them are registered Dems who are supported by the ACLU, and anti gun people like Rosey O'Donnell, .

Waco would have happend wether it be a libral or conservative in office.
Bad descions were made, and know one really knows what the right thing would have been. We beg our goverment to take action then complain that they took the wrong action. Doesn't make sense does it. Are the american people really becoming like the bored housewife that has nothing better to do than nag at their husbands to do something and then complains that he did it wrong. I'm not a Bush fan or a Chenney fan, and perhaps I think someone else could do a better job, right now they are our leaders and in 2008 the American people for those who want it will be granted a divorce, and then a new group of politians can be torn down by the amercan people.

He or she that holds the most money can demand the best treatment. Even in this country. A shooting accident has turned political. "great" I'm as guilty as eveyone that has posted here.
As for gun laws yes there should be gun laws, should guns be outlawed no.. The right to bear arms is still in the constituition.

Considering it was Quale(sp?) hunting you know there were a good 3-10 witnesses, hell maybe even more depending on the size of the field they were walking.
The bird may have jumped up and taken off only to go over the lawyers head, or to the point the VP had to bring his weapon down to make sure he didn't fire over the guys head and in doing so shot him. Its bad trigger control in essense.
COntrolling that one finger is more important than any gun training.

I hope this guy dies
Your character shines brightly with your post.
Here's the guy you hope dies.
Lawyer wins another round in eminent domain case against the city
Little Guys who take on the government rarely win, unless the Little Guy is a guy like Harry Whittington. Whittington, an Austin lawyer, is very rich, very stubborn and very patient — qualities that come in handy if, like him, you're waging a long legal battle against the city.
Six years ago, Austin condemned a downtown block Whittington's family owned to build a $10.5 million parking garage. Whittington's been fighting the city ever since. He racked up two legal victories last year, and on Friday racked up a third: The Texas Supreme Court denied the city's request to hear an appeal, which basically re-affirms a prior ruling in Whittington's favor. The city law department, which has spent $387,000 on the case, doesn't plan to throw in the towel just yet. It can and will choose from two options, Austin's chief of litigation, Anne Morgan, said: Ask the state Supreme Court again to hear the case or argue the case in a county court trial, which Austin never had a chance to do.
Bring it on, says Whittington, who seems unfazed at having spent "hundreds of thousands of dollars" on his legal fees. He says his winning streak should give comfort to property owners unnerved by a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in favor of city condemnations.

You might not have educated yourself about this attorney, but as in all of your previous post I have read there is a commonnality to your thoughts that you also carried out in this post. You exposed yourself for everyone to see. You are not the same at this guy, as much as you might think. when you throw Haliburton and Cheney out there you lump yourself with Nancy Paloci, Teddy Kennedy, and a whole host of others. Un-american may have been to harsh, but so is hoping someone will go to prisonor oreven die for an accident.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha !!!!!!!
This thread is hilarious and predictable.
Typical. Out comes the "L" word (liberal) and immediatley there is a two sided discussion. Guess that's what happens when you are used to a two sided government. I personally thing the U.S. need a few more government parties thrown into the mix and then the discussions would actually get past the name calling.
As for the shooting, who cares. It was a lawyer. Should have been both barrels to the forehead.
-------------------Wow, maybe we should wait for the iraqi govt to form and then we can take a page from them on how to form a civilized society. I have an iraqi brother in law. I asked him if it was ok to cut people heads of and his reply was" what has this person done to deserve it" Again Wow this is truly in international forum.

As far as haliburton come on. I am for making a buck any way I can legally. However having a VP of the USA. Who was running a company that now gets billions upon billions of NO bid work sickens me. It should sicken all of you too. Because we are paying for these animals on our dime! As far as the hunting accident, let's put the guy on trial and see how he likes looking at 40 to life. I knew a person who got 10 years in prison for accidentally shooting a gun off in his own house. The bullet went threw the ceiling. These guys need to get a taste of their own medicine.......... As far as politicians I dislike all of them because, their all crooks or stupid idiots. The only fair person I've ever heard speak is Jesse Jackson. However he is to close with Islam/Louis F and their beliefs. So I would not vote for him either. We need less government interference into our personal lives. Less of these stupid laws and unfair sentences every thing is a felony!

You might notice, that I am rather critical of the USA Government. You might too, if they tried to have you killed! That's right, true story. The USA Government tried to have me assassinated back in the 80's and they destroyed several legally large family owned businesses. Costing my family and I billions of dollars! That's all I can say on that.

Let's debate each point with some civility.
1. Halliburton gets billions of dollars on no bid contracts. That is true, but there is a caveat. Halliburton has been doing work with the military for the past 60 years under Democrat and Republican administrations. I doubt Cheney while a teenager hatched a plot to make sure Halliburton got no bid contracts for wars. Secondly, they are the only company that has the resources to go into a war zone and provide us soldiers, marines, and airmen a warm meal and a roof over our heads. The GAO (a very non-partisan office) and the FBI have investigated the allegations for years. After spending millions of tax payers dollars to look for anything wrong, they found NOTHING! The employees of Halliburton are not animals as you claim, just everyday Americans working in hostile conditions. I think the KBR employees deserve some form of apology.
2. Cheney needs to "die" as you stated for his crimes. Last I checked, making threats against the President or Vice President was a Federal offense. That notwithstanding, Cheney had an accident that peppered a good friend of his. The friend of his will not die, and is doing well. Some reports even said many of the B.B.'s didn't even break the skin. I don't know if you understand quail hunting, but typically the shot used is called "bird shot" and is numbered 7 to 8. That type of shot has a few hundred small B.B.'s that fly in a relatively slow trajectory. I shot birds and simply stunned them at close range where they came alive later after being in my bag. I have also myself been showered with those same types of B.B.'s while out quail hunting on public land. Cheney was still at fault for not checking the end of his barrel and his friend should be mighty ticked off at him. However, hoping the Vice President goes to jail for long periods of time or even dies is simply out of the question. We should all pray for the man who was peppered and hope his recovery is very speedy. We should also pray for the Vice President since he obviously feels terrible about accidentally shooting a close friend.
3. How come no desire to see Teddy Kennedy in jail? He drowned Mary Joe while driving drunk and didn't report the accident to the authorities for over 10 hours. That act warranted jail time, yet nothing......

Goldraker, you sound like you are OUT THERE. I had a friend in Alaska who believed he worked covertly for the government in South America as a soldier of fortune. The fellow had done too many drugs for his own sake. You seem to me to be full of hate for the current administration. What you don't realize is even if this administration is replaced by the opposition on the left, the agenda that is will remain. We the common folk are just pawns in the game. Even if Hillary is elected president she has stated pulling out of Iraq will have to be done over time. This incident involving Cheney looks like it gave you a chance to rant and rave. Chill buddy. Step back and look at the big picture. It really is not that hard to see.

No all this because goldraker hoped our VP would be put on a table and have lethal drugs injected into him. I don't know about you but that seems a bit out there for a hunting accident. I am just supprised he did not blame Bush for this also. I think he is even blaming Bush or the govt. for stealing millions from his family. It is always the same thing with this 33 percent of the population, blame america first. If you remember Goldraker it was the United Nations that caved in and gave bush the go ahead. Hunting accident happen, people don't go to jail for that. unless it was reckless. Let me just say this, based upon a true story. A couple of years ago, one of best friend's. A guy I grew up with. Moved into my late brothers house. My friend Dave was celebrating his birthday by drinking and taking pills. He became addicted to drugs after a bad motorcycle accident. On that night my brother was partying right along with him. When the lady next door came over and said her child was missing. Which in reality I think that she was just messed up, and forgot to look for him in the house. So my brother and Dave go outside drunk as skunks looking for the child. Then my friend Dave starts chasing a goose and fell into a muddy pond. It was just getting dark, so my brother here's Dave yelling. Even though it was only a couple of feet deep. Dave could not get out because of the alcohol and pain killers he had taken. So my brother drunk as he was grabs Dave's arm and tries to pull him out. He is unable to, because of Dave's condition turned him into dead weight. So my brother runs home and calls 911. Dave died on the seen. The police took my brother to the police station, and questioned him for 8 to 12 hours. Basically they wanted him to sign a confession saying that he pushed Dave into the pond. My brother refused and requested a lawyer. They eventually let him go home. My brother filled with guilt, drank himself to death almost exactly one year later. Question how come Cheney wasn't brought into the police station for 10 hours with a confession sitting in front of him?

First off sorry to hear about your brother, but that has nothing to do with this hunting accident, not even remotely. The VP didn't kill anyone so why would he have to sign a confession? What are you getting at here?

02-14-2006, 09:17 PM
My brother didn't kill anyone either. This hunting accident is no different than a car accident. When ever someone is hurt. You talk or see the police right then and there. If you don't, that's obstruction of justice. Why dose he get a convenient time to speak with police. If he had spoken to them right away. We may have found out, if he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol! With him taking 14 hours to speak with the police is VERY suspicious!
The media is once again making fools of themselves over their treatment of this accident. The American public is tunning them out.
You are so right! They look beyond foolish on this one.

I apoligize in advance if this seems caustic to anyone else here. My personal sarcasm included. For this kind of nonproductive drivel from this poster needs to be spoken to. Had it been couched in satire I wouldn't be typing.

I thought we had a breakthrough when you appologized. Cheyey is your Vice President as well as mine, and dont worry he only has 3 more years on the job. I am sure if the same party retains power then you can find other reasons to hate him also. You are outraged by all the suspicion aroun the administration. Lets harken back to anothe time. Waco OOOhhhh! How many people died in the ranch house? Ruby ridge wowwwww, as I recall this mans wife was shot and let lay on the floorof teh kitchen as bait for her husband. Ron Brown--Plain crash???? The dead guy in the park with blood running up hill Hmmmmm. Oh ,and this little beauty. " I NEVER HAD SEX WITH THAT WOMAN, NOT A SINGLE TIME". "WELL THAT ALL DEPENDS WITH WHAT THE MEANING OF ,IS, IS" Your richous indignation seems to end when the party you support is in power. You are part of the hate america crowd that has cost the dems all branches of power and you still cant even take a hint that you cant always stand against everything and stand for nothing. I know it is a waist of time because your liberalism blinds you. Don't run from it, embrase it as I do my conservatism. Now back to reading about somthing important, my dinar. Hope to buy a hummer

This hunting accident is no different than a car accident. When ever someone is hurt. You talk or see the police right then and there. If you don't, that's obstruction of justice........................................... ...................hey gold......this is the VP. there were probably 10 secret service guys there along with the rest of the hunting party that saw the whole thing !!! just one question....how old are you ?

40 is still young.
I'm scratching my head why this has been blown into such a big deal and why this thread is this long. :rolleye03
Like I said, more energy should be put toward topics like the INNOCENT CHILDREN that are violated. ... real news worthy news.
Guess it's what's important to one isn't for another.

Why are you guy's mad at me? I was not the guy with a shot gun in one hand and a bottle of jack in the other!
Why are you guy's mad at me? I was not the guy with a shot gun in one hand and a bottle of jack in the other!Simply put., why I quit this thread..
Never argue with an Liberal, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!
I love it -- they are so slow to realize if Cheney goes down, either Rice or Rudy will be put in the slot. Thus slamming the door on 08 chances for Libs. Just let them keep talk'in. If it was one of their guy's they'd say "under the advice of my attorney we are not talking"....at least Cheney is man enough to take responsibility.
If openness was what they truely wanted....then please tell what evidence that was in Vince Foster's office after they cleaned it up.....Tell Ted K. to tell us when he forgot to swim.....and our brother Bill please tell us if taxpayers paid for that cigar.

Good ones!
I will say this, it takes a pretty big man to on TV and say I pulled the trigger!
Good job on that!
Ya, he is going to prison now! While there at it, why don't we find out how much money he has made from Halleburton. I hope this guy dies and Cheney get's the death penalty! Ya let's fry him, just like just like all of innocent USA citizens the government has killed!
I'm not mad (I don't know that anyone is "MAD") ... but your first post put a very bad taste in my mouth so to speak. No link to the actually story... just taking bits of info and running with it ... ranting, actually. You took an incident and made a big deal out of it, like the media ... dragging in a bunch of hoopla stuff that had nothing to do with the actual incident.
Too say you hoped this guy dies and Cheney gets the death penalty ... ummm .... speaks volumes.
'Course, everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Mine is quite different from yours.

Sometimes I let my emotions get the best of me.:)
Understandable.
We gotta remember that once we put it 'out there' it's out there! The tongue is a mighty sword.

A Colorado man who laughed Monday when he first read Vice President Dick Cheney had shot a hunting companion was himself injured just hours later when he was accidentally blasted by his girlfriend in his own hunting mishap.

Ya that's an unsolved scandal/murder. That could have been a murder for hire. But knowing Hillary she probably just did the job herself!

Goldraker, my advice to you: Put down that funny smelling cigarette, and take some long, deep breaths. If you and your family were at one time worth billions of dollars, you'd have a real education, something which your posts clearly indicate you do not have. Your constant spewing of verbal diarrhea has now earned you a place on my ignore list. Oh, wait, before I do that, have you any 'true' alien abduction stories for us?:lmao:
Excerpt from a great article:
If the culprit had been Ted Kennedy or Ray Nagin, we would have seen Olympic grade obfuscation and blame shifting not seen since OJ’s trial. And you know that the hypocritical, wedged-up-the-left’s-backside reporters would have bought Ted and Ray’s take on this situation gone awry. Somehow Bush and Cheney would have been blamed for purposefully not offering a government funded gun safety course for these confused and ignorant, yet well-meaning, hunters. And the wheels of the bus would go ‘round and ‘round, ‘round and ‘round, ‘round and ‘round, the wheels of the bus go ‘round and ‘round all the liberal day.

Ok, I have come to the conclusion that this goldfinger is a bomb thrower. I don't think he even has strength of conviction for any of the blather he is spewing. From post to post he is so incosistent in his ideas. I was hesitant to let him off the hook as being a left wing liberal kook, but nobody can be this void of common sence. That is unless you are Nancy Paloci, Ted kennedy, John Kerry, Howard Dean, or Dingy Harry. What a group of people you associate yourself with Gold. You can say you dont, but you virtually speak verbatim like them. You are toying with the forum and trying to string this post along for some sort of self gratification.
