Yeah, this is all over the news in the UK. Apparently the local government in Basra didn’t like it and are now talking about withdrawing support for British troops. They want to stop Iraqi troops from patrolling alongside British troops and I think that decision will only give the trouble makers an excuse to riot or launch attacks.

This i believe is footage of British soldiers who had just been mortered, They used snatch squads and dished out some treatment..Which surprise suprise. has resulted in a military investigation and an arrest has resulted. But the british public appear to be unhappy about this. That gutless wonder tony blair has got his PC i am a good boy hat on and made an issue about it. He is useless..Maybe he should look at the bigger picture and protect his troops..

So You think its good? The fact that soldiers can (and do) kick the crap out of someone. Its just what is needed for the insurgents to recruit... Violence on any scale does NOT solve the problem. (it creates it) If terroism is to be defeated, then one should fight TERRORISM WITH TERROISM.

If one is given the name 'Professional' then one should behave that way.
There is NO ROOM for PEER PRESSURE in a modern army. We signed a 'contract' to defend and assist in times of trouble! All security forces put their lives on the line, to which they should be commended.But because the other side does not play by the 'RULES' do we have to lower our standards.
Would it not be better to improve theirs.

These people have been told that the coalition doesnt fight back. I know guys that carried bags of dead "C" and "D" batteries to throw at the people who were throwing rocks at them.
They would ask for food or candy and if you didnt have it, they would throw rocks at you.
This was not my expeirence but i heard about it all the time.

that is the problem. it is always this way and due to that many people get killed. knowing we will not shoot back or hurt you. I was being shot at while driving a 5 ton dump full of rock. I had my m16 and a 45. also had a shotgun rider with his rifle. but we can't shoot them due to some Jerks rules. lucky for me the Canadians were 200yards up the road and they did not have our rules and they were looking for a gunfight. I use to keep a large chunk of cactus on the end of my rifle just to swing it at the people . they know we would not shoot them but I would leave a chunk of cactus in their body. and the army guys would beat them with a ax handle..
