Kurdistan Leader Massoud Barazani received a phone call from US President Barack Obama who supported Barazani’s efforts aimed to form the Iraqi government.
President Obama praised Barazani’s initiative as a major step to gather the different political parties and form an effective national unity government gathering all components of the Iraqi people and capable of ascertaining security and stability in the country.
US President contacted earlier as well Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and stressed the necessity to move forward with forming an inclusive government, Iraqi Presidency said.
