I know many people was saying that the reval may happen the first quarter of this year. Do you think that the bombing of the domb may delay things and if so for how long?

I still believe it could be soon. Sometimes it's just a matter of believing. I've been having my dinar for 3 years. Some people say it'll be years, we'll it has been years. The news always seem to look at the bad, that's all they seem to focus on. Not me. That's why I say sometimes it's just a matter of believing because, seeing what's on the news could make you a non-believer. Faith without works is dead. Just have faith!!! There are a lot of good things happening that could bring this about soon. I Believe

Don’t look back
A new day is breakin’
It’s been too long since I felt this way
I don’t mind where I get taken
The road is callin’
Today is the day

I can see
It took so long to realize
I’m much too strong
Not to compromise
Now I see what I am is holding me down
I’ll turn it around

I finally see the dawn arrivin’
I see beyond the road I’m drivin’
Far away and left behind

It’s a new horizon and I’m awakin’ now
Oh I see myself in a brand new way
The sun is shinin’
The clouds are breakin’
’canse I can’t lose now, there’s no game to play

I can tell
There’s no more time left to criticize
I’ve seen what I could not recognize
Everthing in my life was leading me on
But I can be strong

I finally see the dawn arrivin’
I see beyond the road I’m drivin’
Far away and left behind

I have no second thoughts at all. I am a very optimistic person and feel that there will be a reval. It may be this month and it may be in 2-5 years. I am now in the position to buy a couple more million and plan on doing it very soon. SECOND THOUGHTS? Absolutely not. thanks

No way! The news media is always so negative. So you can't believe most of what is reported. I believe that the Iraqi people will stop the violence and continue towards rebuilding their country and getting their government started. They deserve to have a safe place to raise their families and live. So my thoughts (only) are reval in 2 - 6 months and at a rate close to neighboring countries.

The only second thoughts I have right now is how am I going find a way to buy more dinar.

We're still in an accumulation phase and will continue to be until at least 2008. So, if you think you've missed out on an excellent opportunity to accumulate, don't worry you haven't. If you think it's the end of the world because some folks in the news media have an obsession about reporting only macabre news tales about people being slaughtered left and right, you're wrong. It's not the end of the world, Iraq is NOT on the brink of anarchy or civil war, and things are looking much better compared to 2003, 2004, and 2005. The 'calamity janes', 'worry warts', and 'chicken littles' need to start taking things real slow and easy, and stop jumping every time they hear more bad news. The USA is NOT going to jump ship or leave our friends stranded like we did in April 1975. We are NOT going to see people dangling from helicopter struts from embassy roof tops, or anything of that magnitud. The character of the situation in Iraq is changing in favor of the GoI and its allies, including the USA.

The next item on Iraq's national agenda is NOT going to be a civil war, it's going to be eliminating Al Qaeda from Iraq. Make a note of this in your journals: THERE IS NOT GOING TO BE CIVIL WAR IN IRAQ ALONG THE LINES OF SOME FANTASIES ENVISIONED BY OVERWORKED IMAGINATIONS IN THE CHICKEN LITTLE NEWS MEDIA.

Just to show that I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is, today, March 1st, 2006, my total assets in IQD went from 4 million to 6.56 million. I am bullish on the dinar, but with patience as with any long term investment.

Sincerely,

I couldn't agree with you more Investindinar!

As for the negative reporting, if the Democrats take control of the Oval Office in the next presidential election (bite my toung!!!), you can look forward to all the positive media your stomach can handle. Then miraculously everthing will be better in Iraq. Mark my words!

You know a lot of things are going to change for Iraq going forward. Bill Clinton earlier this year already said in public that we (the USA) were not going to back out of Iraq. This means that whoever wins in November 2008, is going to be backing up our present commitment.

Come January 2009, if the democrats get sworn in, you'd better believe the news reports are going to be singing a different tune. George Soros and his friends are very pro US Democratic Party, and he has been rumored to have taken a fairly substantial position in IQD/NID, at least according to Michael Stathis. So, I can only expect a lot of the big money is already starting to work its way into the IQD/NID thing, including a lot of money from key Democrats interested in the investment angle. Naturally this sort of thing doesn't become public until they start cashing out years down the road.

IMHO, most the real money will be made whenever the GoI and their ISX folks start allowing individuals to begin trading on their stock exchange. I'm happy with 6% per annum compounded monthly, but I would be ecstatic at the opportunity to invest in the ISX.

As for the positive news reports starting in 2009, you'd better believe a lot of people in the news media are going to want their 'lady' in the Oval Office to look as good as possible if, and after she gets elected!

Most of you that are having second thoughts are long term investors in the dinar. I have only been in this a few months. I suppose when I have had my dinars for 2 years and nothing has happened I will probably feel the same way as a few others do at this moment in time.

I have a good feeling about this investment and am very optimistic that the dinar will reach a level that makes us happy and rich.

My stance might be different in a couple of years, but till then I plan on buying more dinars, staying positive and dreaming.

No second thoughts especially after what the CBI said:

On 25 February, Al-Baghdadiyah cited a source a the Central Bank of Iraq as saying that the exchange rate of the Iraqi Dinar will rise significantly against the US dollar during 2006, adding that all policies will be adopted to improve the exchange rate of the country's national currency.

I have been involved with this investment for almost a year and a half, and have seen many dates come and go with no results, but have always been positive. Once thay get their Government up and going we will see many positive things happen, remember thay need and want international trade with the stock market and GDP and to do this their money has to be on the Forex. With that and the proven wealth of Iraq I am more positive than ever about this investment, this will happen and I think very soon, too many indecators for it not to.:happy64: :happy64:

All I got to say is that What is good for IRAQ is good for AMERICA!!!

Best to have had your money in the bank once this ship takesf off. Why?
Cause some of the lead drivers are good to be Iraqis and there going to have to take you the promise land!!! If anyone understands. Get you dinnar into a bank. That's my point!
