OSLO - Norwegian oil company DNO said on Monday it will not start exports from its Kurdish Tawke field until the regional and central government provide details about their agreement to resume exports by February.

"There is definitely information that is still lacking here," said DNO spokesman Tom Bratlie. "It's not like we can just push a button. At the moment there are several issues that have to be agreed upon before we can start exports."

The Kurdistan Regional Government said on its website over the weekend that the regional prime minister, Barham Salih, has agreed with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki "that oil exports from the Kurdistan region would resume by February".

The statement confirmed media reports but provided few details about the agreement, such as how the two levels of government will divide revenues and how DNO and other oil companies with contracts in Kurdistan will be paid for their expenses and profits.

Bratlie said there was nothing else preventing DNO from opening valves in its Tawke field for pipeline exports to the west through Turkey.

"We have the infrastructure and facilities prepared for this," he said. "We can export 50,000 barrels and day and ramp up to that level on very short notice, as soon as all the details are in place."

Shares in DNO were up 3.5 percent to 9.75 crowns at 0842 GMT on a steady Oslo bourse.
