WASHINGTON: Only two people in the word actually believe that there’s any possibility of a new caliphate being established, stretching from Spain to Indonesia - Osama Bin Laden and George W Bush, said Chas Freeman, former US ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

What a load of crap. This guy apparently has learned his Wahabi lessons well. This is the same rhetoric that kept us blind to the growing Jihadist threats that lead to 911. A classic example of Saudi money well spent. They didnt dump millions into U.S. universities to establish Middle East studies programs for nothing. He and his Saudi compatriots want us to always use restraint in dealing with the jihadists while they fund the factories that produce the monsters. All they want is to be left alone. Yes, that is true. Left alone to spread jihad and fatah around the world with as little resistance as possible. This dude needs to be slapped.

Thanks for the post ADS. What Mr. Freeman also forgets is the approximately 1% or 12 million other Muslim who believe in resurrecting the Caliphate as well.
