Continued violence means no contracts, no building, no dinar on the world market. It doesnt matter how much China, Russia, France and Germany want Iraqi contracts or wealth, when there is so much killing going on during the daylight hours. All speculation on the dinar opening soon is false. The dinar wont open up till this violence ceases for a period of time.

With consideration to your logic which has a lot of merit,it is very much like bringing a IPO to market.

Companies do not bring their IPOs to market in hostile or difficult market conditions.

This may not totally stop them from opening the dinar, but it sure will not be an environment condusive to rapid value appreciation.

you turn in all of your US Dollars to me. On a daily basis, there are probably twenty times the amount of people killed violently in the US than there are in Iraq. But I do see what you are saying, we just have to remember, the media will not show all the good going on there, just the bombings.

We are talking about the introduction of a currency like an introduction of a stock. You want to be very calculating for preception sake of value.
No question this dinar will have heavy speculation on the open however the concerns behind holding back the open is more complicated than just our concerns for a fast buck.

The dinar is no different than an IPO. If market conditions are poor, hold back until the fog lifts. The next 2-3 months is crucial for us.
