Baghdad (NINA) Military talks between delegations representing Central Governemt and the Government of Kurdistan Region concluded in Baghdad on Sunday, Jan. 13, without reaching a final agreement on withdrawing forces from disputed areas, yet they agreed on holding another meeting on coming Sunday.

Member of Parliament's Security and Defence Committee, Hassan Jihad, said that today's 2-sessions meeting discussed mechanism of how to coordinate the works of the military forces in disputed areas.

He added that the two sides did not reach final decision on withdrawing forces from disputed areas, but have agreed to continue their talks on next Sunday.

It is noteworthy that earlier the Ministry of Peshmerga in Kurdistan Region said that its delegation to the negotiations in Baghdad carries a paper consisting of nine points, but it did not clarify the nature of the point.

In a press conference, Secretary General of the Ministry of Peshmerga, Jafar Yawar, said that he Region believes in dialogue and peaceful solutions of problems and disagreements between Baghdad and Erbil over disputed areas until implementing Article 140 of the Constitution.
