Mealticket I enquired to them about six weeks ago. They did not not mail anything. Just a excel sheet this time awhile back they send copies of cerficates from ISX.

Here you go:

Our ISX department is currently transferring stocks one company at a time and moving to the next as the transfer is completed into the names of the shareholders holding shares in that company.

It is important to note that as the ISX has gone fully electronic an electronic statement will be generated from the system replacing the certificate method.

Best regards,

ISX Department

Calstar, please double check the numbers. I believe you will see that it is 1% sell and 1% buyback on commission. (may be a single entry)

You should also ask them for a copy of the transaction report from they received from the ISX so you can capture the transaction number. To me, the excel spreadsheet alone does not cut it.

[B]You are correct.

Please note that we transferred all your shareholdings of Light from proxy company into your good name noting that a commission fee of 2% is applied (1% on seller account and 1% buyer account) details as attached.

So the question for all proxy share holders is: Do you want to pay 2 % on the transfer now when the shares cost as an example 100,000 X 1 dinar which equals a commission of 2,000 dinar or do you want to wait until the share price is 10 dinar X 100,000 shares (keeping example the same) which equals a commission of 20,000 dinar later? As a holder of a lot of shares in Warka I hope all the proxy holders wait as long as they can hence Warka profits will be up. But that is not why I am on this forum. I suggest, and only IMO, that proxy holders start the coversion process now and if there is push back from Warka, just sell the stock and buy it back. In some cases you'll buy it back cheaper and in some more expensive but all in all it is about the same and you are paying your lower 2% now and positioned yourself as the right out owner of your stocks in your good name.

I had to send them a colored copy of my passport last year because all they had was a black and white copy. They must have a valid passport on file I believe to do anything with your stock. Almost all of my stock is in my good name, so I guess it could be different with proxy procedures also.

Cal, I've been getting these 'good name transfers' for about the last 8-10 months and have been randomly selected by the Warka ISX Dept. Approximately 75-80% of my stocks are 'in my good name' but I'm not sure if we could request them to convert the remaining stock holdings to 'IMGN'. I want to make sure that I can take advantage of Paid-Up share offerings and not bleed my diminishing Warka savings account. Speaking of which, does anyone know the best channel to wire money to Warka? I live in the mid-south and the closest Chase bank is 200 miles.

Gary,

I think you will need to do a lot more than send a coloured copy of your passport. To have shares transferred to 'your good name' you need to be registered with the ISX.
This means getting your details (passport/address/signature) notarised in the U.S then sent to the Iraqi embassy to be approved and stamped with a seal of authenticity. (assuming you have not done this) Cost just over £200 in the U.K.
That then has to be mailed to Warka and they will forward it to the ISX.

Perhaps somebody from your side of the pond could help you thru the procedure as it may be slightly different over there. I believe all the info is on the forum if you search it.

Several times. The first in 2004, really surreal experience. Just had to say "english please, Ms. ____ please" when the switchboard operator answered and then I was put through to her.
