Met with Mr. Hassan Turan Bahaa Eddin, head of Kirkuk provincial council in his office on Thursday, 3/11/2011 Thomas Aazkurda U.S. consul in Kirkuk.
At the start of the meeting, the Aazkurda and on behalf of his government's congratulations to the people of Kirkuk, on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha wish peace and prosperity for the people of the province.
In another aspect of the meeting the two sides discussed the current situation in the province and the basis for cooperation and joint action between the provincial council and the U.S. Consulate to be opened soon in the province of Kirkuk.
