Asked an official source in the file Kurdish families displaced from Iran to Iraq late in 1979, the unity of the Kurdistan Region Ckramaan by decree the anniversary of the displacement of these families, the government of the region by providing them with Iraqi citizenship legally.

The Iranian authorities had been abandoned about 800 Kurdish families from its territory to Iraq late in 1979 because of the war that took place between the two countries, where there are about 85 families of whom live in refugee camp (Hirōnd) between the judicial Kalar and Khanaqin in Diyala province.
