Today, I had just seen a reverse split for a stock I has recently purchased ( 6 months ago ) and I couldnt find any news about why it happened
Is this a bad thing...
Has it ever be a good thing when a reverse split happend only to be a good thing:confused:
Should I be concerned ..
Buy more or just wait and see where it goes

Why can't playing with stocks be as easy as fixing HVAC equipment
:lmao:

It can be I guess making the share prices higher... IE a 1$ share looks better then a .01 share price.

So it just looks more legit and having 200,000,000 shares floating around for a small company sometimes looks fishy /shrug (Like one penny stock I saw at 1 trillion shares in cir. hah)

I am no expert but I don't believe it is a good thing. Companies need to keep the price of their stock at a certain level, say above 1.00 to prevent getting delisted and sometimes a reverse split will do that, and/or they have far to many shares floating. Neither scenarios are very good, but the bright side is I am no expert.

I know last year when APple split at 80$ so it went to 40, now its almost at 80 again so basically 100% gain not to bad and thats for a big company:huge:

IPRE.PK is in the beginings of a reverse stock split taking common shares to 500 million from the current 2 billion authorized shares.

Electric City (ELCY) has just completed a reverse split, 15 shs to 1 sh. It does seem that the stockholders overall investment value plummeted in the process. I can't find anything on the web about thew consequences to the stockholders of this action.

Electric City had recently been delisted by the American Exchange as ELC, and is now ELCY on OTC Bulletin Board. Possibly a related event. Can anyone shed some light on this?
