hi everyone ive just learned about the dinar investing and bought my first one million today , ive been doing some searching on the net and i cam across this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraqi_dinar

it says the exchange rate on the street in iraq is 1500 dinar to one us dollar . i dont know much about it all to be honest ,can someone more in the know than me give me a realistic idea of what 1 dinar could be worth in there opinion , if or when the iraq goverment reval , or is my guess as good as everyone elses ?
thanks

Hi and welcome! The CBI (Central bank of Iraq) http://www.cbiraq.org/ Has kept the dinar at a stable rate of around 1460-1480 dinar to one dollar for a couple of years now. This is where you need to check the exchange rate as it is the most accurate.

We are all speculating as no one knows for sure when or even IF the reval will occur. There are some reallllllly good arguments both ways from very intelligent members on here. You could spend days on here and find answers to most of your questions. We are hoping for more value to the dinar very soon however, the security situation IMHO needs to be addressed quickly.

Welcome to our insanity. :D

I buy mine from a vender here in Baghdad, and pay 1450 to 1 US $... he is making a little commision but thats ok, I do not have to go up town and take a chance getting killed.....
