Iraq has succeeded in decreasing its general foreign debt and had cut 80% of its debt to Russia to reach 800 million dollars out of 13 billion. This came in the frame of the agreement which has been done with Paris club.

An authorized source said that the Iraqi delegate has to Paris club has the greatest effect in cutting 80% of Iraq debt to Russia to activate its role on the international level and achieve the requirements of the agreement. This approach will be used to decrease the general debt and other countries dues.

You mentioned 1 left to go (UK)? Is that true? Is that the only country left to forgive Iraqi debt? If so that is awesome!! Anybody know where to find Iraqs current debt situation?

Yes, The UK is the last Paris club member that has not forgiven debt, but there are also non Paris club members.
