I don't honestly believe that Israel will ever attack Iraq, unless terrorists start moving into the area at alarming rates. But this does put the US in an awkward predicament because the US has to be supportive of the new Iraqi government, but when the leaders are anti-Israel, that might cause some tensions...

arabs have always and will always hate jews. this does not involve iraq in any way. what is happening is that the us is sending a message to iran via the israeli attacks on lebanon. it is only about iran and nukes. the iranians want an attack to raise their religous leader. it takes a nuke to satisfy their beliefs. too complex to explain in a short post. the good news is that oil will reach its 100dpb price. well, good for the dinar.

I would point out that even though the country of Assyria no longer exists; its land area is currently possessed by Syria and Iraq.

Egypt entered into a peace agreement with Israel in 1972. Eventually, there will be peace in the Middle East. There will be a highway of commerce from Iraq and Syria, through Israel, to Egypt.

As much I hate to see what is happening to our Israelie friends, This might be good for our investment. Some of the Terriorist in Iraq might leave, and go fight Isreal. This could be the distraction that Iraq needs to stableize there security.
