Guys I don't know if any of you know this but there is NO LAW requiring American citizens to pay income taxes, if you don't believe me ask your accountant or lawyer to show you the law.
there is a movie/documentary coming out soon in theaters that I think is going to wake Americans up.

I once had a tax client who joined a group of militants in North Dakota who also believed that there was no tax law in the U.S.
He chose not to file tax returns for about 4 years.

The leader of his group was killed in Texas, running from the law by U.S. Marshall's.
My client suddenly "got religion" and filed for all past due tax returns.

Do some research on the people who have tried to claim this is court! See where they are today. I'll give you a hint, either dead, in jail or on the way to jail! Let's see if this documentary tells the American people that information.

O-oooo K-aaaaaaa young'n...... Take your case to the US Supreme Court and let me know how you make out. That's after you "get out". I HEARD this same ole' "NO TAX LAW" song by a group of buckaroos back in the early 1980's. I guess history does repeat about every 20 years. By the way....that group from the 1980's did their federal prison time.....TAX LAW or NO TAX LAW. But.... before you jump off the deep end grasshopper, you might start looking at Administrative Directives of the federal government that allow them to collect taxes under a vague umbrella law.

I wish I had the link... but the Washington Post reported (Monday the 24th, 2006) that Pres. Bush will be reducing the amount of lawyers and auditors in the division of the IRS thet innvestigates huge personal wealth by 45% in the next few months... this has the slant that GWB was not able to repeal the "Death" tax / inheritance tax for his friends.. I believe this would also be your division that would audit your significant personal capital gain...

The spin on the Hill is that W. is making it easier to file with the loop holes tohelp trust funds and inheritance protection...

BUT.. this war was financed by our tax dollars and the money we may receive by a reval / stock proces, etc. was paid by the blood of US soldiers and others.. and not that I believe that every tax dollar I give back will be spent well and directly to those who lost... I believe we owe what is due, less smart itemized deductions and lost of charitable donations (especially to the VA programs)

You are right, it was repealed. But anyone who challenged it, lost. And when they seize all your stuff, it will cost you that stuff and more to fight them.
To add more to you conspiracy, The IRS is not even part of the US Government, If any one ever has received a letter from the IRS, look who pays the postage. I was a small business owner and receive letters all the time. It was brought to my attention.

Being an employee of the IRS (for the last 15 years) I think I would have heard about this. Have heard nothing about any downsizing but we have actually been doing some hiring the past couple of years. This must be some more BS being spouted to bad mouth the President. Besides that, our union would never allow it to happen.

Income tax was designed to be temporary I thought, though I cant back that up with fact right now, too tired to research.

Also, I thought I read somewhere that it isnt a law that you have to pay taxes, but if you dont there is a penalty and thats what the governement work off of.

Not sure....and dont wanna argue, just saying, there is more out there to this than conspiracy theory.
