Proof Of Purchase

Hello all, I am new to the forum and have been reading here for hours.

I purchased my dinar from a friend of mine that was stationed in Iraq. He simply took my USA dollar to Irag and exchanged it for the Dinar.

My question and or concern is: If I do not have a proof of receipt what will happen when the time comes that I decide to exchange it back to USA Dollars?

Any advice will be helpful.

so if I am understanding this correctly, I will be able to exchange my dinars without a receipt, but I might be taxed more in capital gains?
