I'm a new member. Was just reading some of the postings. Before I purchased Dinar I went to the Bank of America and asked about exchanging the New Iraqi Dinar for USD and was told when it comes on the market BofA will exchange for a small fee and deposit to my account after approx. 5 days. She also said they would take taxes out! Has anyone else been told that and the percentage of taxes are they talking about?

I just got off the phone with 2 banks..first i called citi bank and they do not have a clue and i guess the associate i spoke with felt my questions did not merit a transfer to their foreign exchange department. Bank of America did transfer me to their foriegn exchange department and i did not like what they had to say. But before I get to the bad news I will say that they told me different then what you were told. They told me that they were not sure how soon the funds would be available (whether immediately or in days) aftyer deposit and will not know until they start trading. The bad news is that they feel that there will not be any reval until the violence over there decreases significantly and they do not see this happening for years.:rolleye03 I hope they are wrong.

Just another opinion. Days, months, years or never. You hear them all. Does the staff at a local BofA have a inside source that knows the future. NO!!

The Bank Doesnt Have The Aythority To Withhold Taxes. Unless Someone Knows Something Different. They Dont Know When It Will Reval. Remember-theyre Dumb Bankers- Grocery Clerks With $$$$ As Their Commodity.

We have people on here who have thousands of hours under their belts in research on this investment, much more than a associate at BofA has and none of us know but it is ludicrous for her to say something like that, Every country there is has violence in their countries including the USA (9/11) it does not stop there currency from being traded on the international market, find your self a good financial planner/CPA/ Tax lawer and see where your local world bank is. When it revals these banks are not going to lose out on the income potential of the largest currency exchange the world has ever seen:happy64:
