1.) Nothing, we will still get rich. 2.) Forget about it, we lost our stock investment. 3.) Depend's, on what and in which of the three regions you bought stock in.

I am going with door number one. Even if Iraq devides into three regions, or states (maybe the United States of Iraq), they still need to do business for their economy (economies) to grow and prosper. So I do not see it as a problem. The distribution of the oil wealth could create some issues, but I hope this would be resolved in some type of fair manner.

buck Hey Buck, What if Rafsmangomad in Iran pulls the puppet strings of Sadr and company in the southern oil region of Iraq? No way will he allow any infidel's from getting their infidelish finger's black with "texas tea"(sorry must have watched too many episodes of Beverly Hillbilly's as a kid), "Shia oil". Kurd's are begging for FIM(foreign investment monies) and Sunnies are dirt "sand poor". Any thoughts?

Maybe Warka should open up a few more branches up north just to be on the safe side.

Maybe there should be a #4 .. I didn't know a split up was even likely. I don't know what will happen with ISX stocks if that happens.
