MODERATOR NOTE: THREAD WAS SPLIT
As long as my thread has been hijacked and taken WAY off topic....
Whats everyone think of the Dallas Cowboys pre-season so far?

I have always loved the Boys from Dallas!

Well regardless of what anyone thinks, I believe that Drew Bledsoe, Terry Glenn, Jason Witten, and Terrell Owens will take the Cowboys to the playoffs this year as long as Terrell Owens can get along with Coach Parcells that is.

The glory days of Aikman/Johnson and Staubach/Landry will never return but the playoffs would still be nice.

Steelers all the way, I only hope big ben will be OK this year, they also need a second go to reciever, Hines Ward can't do it alone.

Cowboys have a good team. Owens should not be to much trouble his first year. He is not one to like pre-season. When its time for him to play in the regular season, he will be ready. The AFC will win the Superbowl again. Hopefully it will be the Patriots!!!!!

Cowboys look better this preseason than last. However, it is only preseason :)
I was super-impressed with Tony Romo 2 weeks ago, I remember shuddering at the thought of having to rely on him last year.
I think the 'boys have a good shot at the playoffs this year....T.O. is the x-factor.
Still, even if he turns out to be a total worthless waste of cash (I don't like T.O.) that free agent Hurd seems to be able to make some catches as the 4th wideout.
Julius looks good. My man, Witten, is awesome.
Going to be a great year!

We'll see…I also predicted that the Yankees would sweep the Red Sox on another forum. And almost got laughed off the thread. After the Yanks won the fifth and final game of the 2006 "Boston Massacre", they were all singing a different tune.
Re: the Mannings…Let's just say…my "sources" say that the NFL is gonna see a new and improved Eli this year. And Peyton lost his favorite receiver so…we'll see… ;)

This should be a great game. Curious to see how the Colts will do without Edge. The air attack will be back, that's for sure.
Since the game is at Giants Stadium, I'll give them the edge.

My Vikings got thier butt's kicked good on Monday Night Football at home! Dang purple anyway. The only way to win against teams like the Pat's, Colts, Bears is to keep them off the field with a good run game. I thought we had a chance at that going into this one. I sure hope they can make the right adjustments to what the Patriots showed everyone in the league Mon. night, or I am afraid it will be a down hill slide from here for my Vikings.

The Ravens all but ended Pittsburgh's playoff hopes and all but guaranteed that any talk about Super Bowl contenders must include Baltimore, writes John Clayton.

Seriously, I know half of the people on this forum are from TX, so where are the Cowboy fans? The stinky Tuna is gone but he left alot of weapons behind. Just look at our roster. A young QB, not one but TWO good running backs, one of the fastest recievers along with some dude called TO.
But who cares about the O, its all about the D
DeMarcus Ware, Greg Ellis, Bobby Carpenter, Terrance Newman, and of course "the concusioner": Roy Williams

Oakland was wise to replace A. Brooks as QB. You have a very good young defense, need a QB and Offense Line.
Oh and maybe a new owner, Al Davis is really out there......
