Currently, one dinar is valued at about 1/16 of a cent. Although we expect the value to increase, we don't know when or by how much. I think it would be interesting to see which range each of us believes that the reval will be in.
I believe, when it occurs, that it will be about $0.04, so that would be in the moderate range. Which range do you think it will reval in?

IMO, i think the dinar will reval to a least one dollar. If it is too low, it will still be speculated by investors. I do not beleive they will value it very high. But I think if we wait and progress is made in Iraq then we could see it rise to in excess of at least $2. just my opinion.

I will stick to my beliefs of a slow and steady rise.
Initial RV at about .01 and slow and steady up from there to .50-.80.

Some of you may already have noticed my mistake. I should have said that the dinar is valued at about 1/15 of a cent. Further, the Very Low Reval would be 1/14 to 1/10. :drunk: But, I really don't think my error has effected the poll.
I've noticed that no one has selected the Low Reval. For those who might be having difficulty understanding the poll -- another way of reading it is:
Very Low Reval: (between 1400 and 1001 dinars per dollar)
Low Reval: (between 1000 and 201 dinars per dollar)
Moderate Reval: (between 200 and 5 dinars per dollar)
High Reval: (between 5 and 1 dinar per dollar)
Very High Reval: (between .25 and .99 dinar per dollar)

My guess is the IQD will open with an even exchange to the Jordanian Dinar.
