I know the feeling I started my Warka account and was on fire to start trading on the ISX. That was 2 and a half months ago and I am still waiting. It will happen, just when no one knows though. Take Care over there.

Ok, ok, I will try to compose myself. But I just want anyone who gets the word to pass it along as soon as possible. I've heard....quite possible a rumor...that the market will be open as soon as summer 05'. Wouldn't that just be great!!!

I talked to one of the interpetors out here on post the other day. He told me that local businesses could invest now, but not foreign ones. I don't truely understand if that is fact or fiction. I was told by an officer out here that Pepsi now owns most of one of the soft drink companies. Which one....Baghdad softdrink, or Northland softdrink... I'm not sure.

That would be great! I was just thinking we would have to get a company name with an iraqi address to do this, but if we can open a brokerage account in the company names we have here it would be soooo much better. Thanks for the info, let us know how it turns out.
