What type of businesses are you interested in?
What business would you start?

If money was no object, what business would you start or what business do you think the world needs?

I would start a dinar for sale business. Why because that's one inventory I wouldn't mind getting stuck with.

Cafe's are the nicest places to hang out. Even at $5 for a cup of coffee, especially if they have internet and mobile phone accessability.
Wherever I travel I always look for a cafe to relax in, coffee and danish in hand....

My son had an internet cafe. It was doin fine till his partner messed it up. So, he just quit. Not asking me for a hand was a mistake,. OR, maybe not

That's too bad, they can be real money makers. Good Coffee, fresh products, and easy access to parking if your outside the city...
I've been to a few Mom and Pop Cafe's that resembled Starbucks; same style and color scheme. As long as the coffee's good, who cares about branding ...

Agriculture (or anything that has something to do with food production) and telecommunications maybe. Here in the Philippines, many people go to sleep without food. Some eat only once a day due to extreme poverty. If I start a business in agriculture I will not only provide employment to the many unemployed here, but also (maybe) help bring the prices of such basic commodities down. That way, more people will be able to afford to buy the food they need. About telecoms, people here are SMS addicts.
Speaking from experience ..... owning your own business is wonderful and quite stressful all wrapped up in one. No matter how much moola you have ... to run it well ... lots of your time will need to be invested. Trust me, we have our own business and I run my own (in my SPARE time). It's not your 9-5 job.
Now, dreaming ... I'd like to start a Pregnancy Care Center for teens/ young women that are facing unwanted pregnancies. The center would be the core place that would provide everything for these women: being a support system through the pregnancy, providing counseling, helping with healthy choices and finding good homes for those that will be put up for adoption, aiding in finding a job, helping provide necessities, etc.. We are involved with one in the BIG CITY near us. I am always moved when I go there. It's a good thing. A very good thing.
