What Denoms Do Banks Carry?

Seems a lot of you are getting your dinar through banks.

Are you able to get all the denoms or just some?

Over here in the UK we have been able to get all denominations from the banks ever since they have been released. I should think it is the same with your relevant banks in the US.

I've been able to get 1K, 5K, 10K, and 25K through Chase Bank here in H-town.

Hi Lightrays-Dinars,
The bank I get from is NatWest & I picked up some more yesterday morning, although I believe some posters have said that they have had problems obtaining. Also, Halifax & RBoS. I have several accounts & thus have never found difficulties but maybe some people have tried without an account at the particular bank (not necessarily branch) thus being told No.
Looks like things are now moving very fast with any luck. Strange how they have now enacted the FIL the day after that the ISX has shut down until the 8th Jan: thus any person or massive conglomerate wishing to buy more shares in Iraqi companies cheap cannot do so until they reopen. They might reopen after all the necessary things need to be enacted, FIL done, HCL to be done, ICI to be done but all basically due prior to the 8th with most probably the RV in at the last moment as well so that the shares will now not be able to be got hold of cheaply.
Any how hoping for the big one.

My last 3 purchases, one was all 10K, one all 5K, and one all 1K. Wierd.

This is rather disheartening..... so you can't ask for specific denominations? That's a bummer. I already have lots of 25k notes. If I specified small notes and I got more 25k I'm going to tell the teller to send them back and bring me smaller ones!!!

sure you can ask for certain denominations! you can ask for large size, small size, or mixed!

you get whatever they have on hand, doesn't matter what you choose they will give you what they have, and if they have say 25k and 10k and you wanted small then they will get small for you. Circulated notes are becoming more and more lately, I don't foresee any uncirculated notes coming in, around me at least no biggy 25k is 25k.

Was told by bank Manager, that you could receive dinars, at local bank branch, nationwide. Two working days return, must have a compass bank account. They couldn't or wouldn't said what size the dinar bill would be.
