That's three points instead of the regular 2. I sure hope this is benfiting the Iraqis cause they need the inflation to come down. Plus this will defeat the idea of a LOP!

Seriously though, its the term used to describe erasing three zeros from the currency (ie a 25k note would become a 25 Dinar note, etc etc)

I can handle a 10 point + rise in value per week. I always thought it would be a slow reval as opposed to a 1:1 overnight. good luck to us all!

It's important to note that a LOP does not have the effect of increasing the value of a currency. People have gotten this confused in their quest for a positive spin on this matter. Fact is, a lop is a big negative in regards to this investment or any investment of this sort.

Using a bit of reasoning will lead one to the truth........ 10x, 100x, or 1000x valuation with a lop? A lop isn't used for these sorts of things.
