I have confirmed the ISX will be shut down after tomorrow's trading. As of now still planning on having e-trading early '07.

I am quite sure the auctions will continue through January. There could be days they take off, but the extended break is just for the ISX as far as I know.

Two possibilities here, they may have increased the rate increment to get to the 1340 target rate they have set. There was no way they could make it with the pace they have been useing. Or, this could be a sign of bigger rate increases to speed up the process. Perhaps they determined the smaller rate increases were not having the desired effect. Or, maybe they want to show people they really mean business with the rate improvement. Any way you cut it this is great news. Perhaps the real fun has begun.

It will be interesting to see what the ISX does tomorrow as well. With a 21 day break coming up. I hope this break is an opportunity to get the FIL up and working, and maybe have a serious reval before the market opens again in January. If I had money at Warka to invest in the ISX I would try to get into the market tomorrow if possible. Things might be a lot more expensive when the market reconvenes in three weeks.

With C.O.D, and reputable dealers available. With Dinar Trade the notes are even checked on the De La Rue machine so you know your getting authentic notes.

Why? Stocks and Banking, although financially based, are usually separately managed...If I was to use your thinking here and apply it to international banking does that mean if the Stock Markets are closed ALL Banks cease their work too. I think not...

I ordered another 2 mill from Dinar Trade myself on Thursday, but have yet to hear back from them on the wire transfer. I only paid 800 per though, assuming they confirm the transfer and don't ask for a higher rate or anything.

Oh, for the love of ....., stop it! You're just going to send the same old arguments around in circles and one thing is a fact: neither yeasayers or naysayers are 100% sure of what is going to happen. You're/We're ONLY guessing or making an educated guess on the basis of what we see here. If you can't see something BIG is going to happen in regards to Iraq in January 2007 then I've misjudged the intellects of some people here, not to mention the standards of blindness of some!

I have NOT said WHAT is going to happen in January nor WHEN, I only know that something BIG is coming in January and you can read that on VIRTUALLY EVERY article that has come out of Iraq since November where it has been said New Year (New Year is universally interpreted as January, not Feb, Mar, etc.), January, early 2007, etc., etc. The ICI is being FORMALLY signed ata big banquet type event 7th or 8th Jan (can't remember). The ISX will be back on the 8th Jan, etc. The new budget will be in effect in January as will the FIL, HCL, Article VIII, etc., etc. (some already are in place). Handouts of 10K to people by Jan 31st. Loans of currently WORTHLESS IQD10K amounts being introduced. Don't tell me you can start a business on $6.60, $66 or even $660 based on current prices or even that the Dinar amount is actually higher because with all this other money being distributed in a CASH based society there wouldn't be enough to support the physical amounts needed for more than one month.

If you want to tell me I'm talking rubbish (garbage) then go back and read half the threads and their links to actual articles before coming and saying it to my 'face'...

As someone who worked in Banking I.T. for many years I can say based on the evidence seen already this closedown of the ISX is probably to implement the new electronic systems to handle international trading. I know for a fact that when my Bank put new systems in (just for U.K. based transactions) there were ALWAYS teething problems for the first week and usually longer. For international stuff it there is some much interaction that thorough checking is needed before coming on-line. Think about it! If a system dealing with Stock trading came on-line immediately and had faults that were not obvious then Millions of shares or share values could be affected. You only have to look at the World's stock markets now to see they can be precariously balanced at the best of times.

So before some of you go speculating why they are offline for so long I am pretty certain there is no 'sinister' purpose except to be Internationally capable of stock trading and to get it right before they let loose the new systems....

The CBI stated a long time ago that the rate would be 1345 (if I remember correctly) by the end of the year. They are simply doing what they stated. They have also stated a couple times that they will not do a large revalue because it would cause “shock“. They have stated they can't even reduce it to 1000:1 because they don’t have enough reserves. They have stated the money supply is to large right now, it’s one of the reasons for inflation. This has just been nicely exciting. I expected and hoped for a steady
solid climb out of the hole. To be perfectly honest, I also said months
ago that when this happened, THEN I would seriously accumulate as
risk is being lowered. I'm following thru. Now is the time to buy. 1400-1
is nothing to sneeze at. $5k to $10k invested now is worth risking imo.
I love slow steady movement.

This will lead to a serious RV imo. Besides, am semi-retired. Can't retire
