Bill Barrett Corp's (BBG) IPO is scheduled for this week. Formerly known as Barrett Resources, they operated in the Rocky Mountain region, in the natural gas exploration business. A little more than 2 years ago, they sold to Williams Energy for a HUGE profit, then turned around recently and bought back acreage from Williams in order to begin drilling as BBG. Barrett has a very good track record, and has the midas touch.

This is another example of why you will never see a Civil War in Iraq..There`s too much money and power behind the scenes, weeling and dealing...In my view, the insurgency is a cockroach compared to what`s happening behind closed doors...In my view, the insurgency is there and still allowed to bomb here and there and kill here and there until the powers that be say...ok, that`s enough...clean them up..We got what we wanted..Sounds horrible, but we all know how Govts. work..It`s all about money at this point.I read the entire article and it`s amasing to see that while there`s fighting, bombing, kidnappings and the Media calling Iraq a disaster....Countries trying to get in on the action are huddled in Spain making deals and pledging money in exchange for a piece of the action...It doesn`t look to me like they`re going to let Iraq go down in flames..On the contrary, I believe in a few years it will be one of, if not the most modern and technologically advanced nations in the World....under the control of the US and other rich nations of course...Don`t believe for a minute that Iraqis will own their country..You know the saying..It`s not the face making the speech, but The real power behind the scenes...the silent partner which controls things...Believe me, we will have the exchange rate we want and there will be a profit from the Dinar investment..it`s only a metter of time and I don`t think it will be years. I believe it will be months if not weeks....
